Frequently asked

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know about how InjecTeam supports consultations, directives, and collaborative oversight.

What is InjecTeam?

InjecTeam is a professional support system and community that connects medical aesthetics injectors and nurses with their supervising medical director. Injectors share consultation cases, the director reviews each treatment together with them, and a signed medical directive is documented and kept on the record.

Who is InjecTeam for?

It supports two roles working side by side. Medical directors and nurse practitioners use it to provide oversight, review cases, and document directives. Injectors and nurses use it to share consultations, ask clinical questions, and stay connected to the support behind their practice.

How does the review process work?

An injector shares a case with photos, medical history, and the treatments planned. The medical director reviews each treatment together with the injector and can approve it, discuss it with a reason, or request a live consultation. Approved treatments are documented with a signed directive.

What is a medical directive?

A medical directive is a signed authorization from a supervising physician or nurse practitioner that allows a qualified professional to perform a specific treatment under defined conditions. InjecTeam captures this digitally — per treatment, signed, and recorded against the patient and case.

What are standing directives and auto-approval?

A medical director can choose to let an approval stay valid for a set period. Within that window, a returning client for the same approved treatment can be cleared automatically. Auto-approval is optional, configurable per injector, and the director is always notified when it happens.

Is patient data secure?

Patient health information is encrypted on a per-patient basis and access is recorded. The app is built for the sensitivity of medical records and keeps a complete history of changes and access.

How much does InjecTeam cost?

The app is free to download on iPhone and Android. Supervision packages — how many consultations are included and how usage is counted — are arranged together between a medical director and their injectors inside the app.

Which devices are supported?

InjecTeam is available for iOS (iPhone) on the App Store and for Android on Google Play.

Is InjecTeam available in Canada?

Yes. InjecTeam is built for the Canadian medical aesthetics market and is available on the App Store and Google Play.

Does InjecTeam give medical advice?

No. InjecTeam is a documentation and workflow tool. It supports supervision and record-keeping but does not provide medical advice and does not replace a provider’s clinical judgement or professional and regulatory obligations.

How do I get started?

Download the app, create your account, and connect with your medical director (or invite your injectors if you’re the director). From there you can share or review your first consultation — and join a community built around safer, collaborative care.
